Red Shirts
Came up with this idea a couple years back when the boxed set craze started back up in RPGs. I had an image in my mind of a game that would come in a boxed set, with 4 red operations shirts, a handful of white D6s, and a single red die.
The whole session was intended to take place in the time between the ship arriving in orbit around the planet, and the rolling of the opening credits. The red die...

Current RPG Projects:
A relationship Game based on the 2010 movie Monsters (among others). Currently fleshing the idea out. A Lovecraftian version of Baron Munchausen. This one’ll almost certainly be a drinking game, and I’m planning to bind it to match the version of Baron I already have. A Lovecraftian game based on the latest epiphany I’ve had about the setting. Doesn’t look to be too...

Thinking of starting a podcast. Possibly an audiobook of some of the books I’m planning to read (public domain stuff).

Project Dandelion
It’s an image that occurred to me. I can see it in my minds eye if I focus hard enough. Thousands of ships rocketing off of the earth like dandelion seeds in a strong wind. Maybe some of them are even catching a solar breeze as they enter the black. Whether it’s by our own hand, by simple exhaustion of resources, or by the violent death of the sun, one day the earth will be left...

Been seeing a lot of pics posted through Instagram lately and it occured to me. The quality of a picture can be part of it’s aesthetic appeal, even if the quality is low. In photography, as in so many other area’s of life, it’s all about how you use the equipment you have. I keep putting off photosets that I’d like to do because I don’t have a decent camera yet, but...
Question...
I’m looking to hard bind a book of mine (for durabilities sake as much as any other), and for the most part I think I can manage it, but since I’m using leatherette for the cover, I’ll need to emboss the title/author on the cover. How difficult is it to emboss leatherette?

Went to an HPL convention today. Got to thinking about some of the projects I’ve been putting off. Not sure how much I can accomplish, but I think I’ll get started on some of them while I’m feeling inspired.
What’s on the list? For starters a mythos themed version of Baron Munchausen, which I’ll plan to leather bind myself (well, leatherette). Next up, an rpg I was...

Really wish I had a decent cash flow right now. Seems like all the projects I’ve been inspired towards the last year(ish) have required more money than I have available.
The current one is inspired by Reaper. The idea being to play up the “fallen angel banished to eternal torment in the fires of hell” angle. Probably cost a small fortune though.

RPG Noir (Part I)
Watching Brick, thinking about Sherlock, and the idea struck me. To run an RPG in a similar vein, detective story that is, you’d describe the important details along with the rest. Instead of adding lines like “you notice a bracelet on the bed” after describing the scene, say “the bracelet on the bed has an inscription”.
I’m now picturing a game though, where...
Really need to get my funds together to buy that camera. I keep having idea’s for photoshoots I’d like to do, but I just don’t think the iPhone’s built in camera would quite suffice for the shots I want to get (also, seems a little disrespectful to the model to use a camera phone given the quality of picture that comes out of it).
